I did actually go out with one woman living in the park. This gal lived up the street and had a young son. I took her to see The Shining (Kubrick’s version) when it opened. I thought she was joking when she said the movie was awful, that I tortured her by taking her to it. At parting I told her I’d call. I finally tried one time. No answer. That was that.
