The face of death is indistinct. On close inspection it is but a skull-like cipher. The posture and cloak are rigid, as if this most-feared spectre has something itself to fear. One thing I didn’t have to worry about was having to wait for a casino to buy this painting :). It’s one of the lucky few— so far— that has ended up in a good museum collection.
